Mince is an independent zine platforming emerging artists, writers and creatives shaping the food & hospitality world. Created by creatives in and around the hospitality industry, food is their lens, but not a limitation. As the universal connector, it’s merely a gateway to bigger conversations.
Designed, printed and self-published in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.
The first issue features work from 50+ writers and artists across Australia and the US. The issue includes creative photo projects, photojournalism, interviews, opinion pieces, poetry, recipes, community submissions, and physical and digital artworks – all sitting alongside critical reflections on food culture, labour, memory, and the systems that shape how we eat.
